Responsibilities

The purpose of the Energy Optimisation Specialist HVAC, is to utilise their technical capability primarily in relation to HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) systems to identify, develop and deliver energy efficiency solutions, and to develop, refine and utilise data and analytics tools to maximise energy efficiency opportunities for Accacia’s real estate clients.

• Development, refinement and utilisation of data and analytics tools to maximise energy efficiency opportunities for Accacia’s real estate clients
• Assess and analyze energy consumption in HVAC systems, identifying opportunities for energy optimization and cost reduction
• Develop energy management strategies and initiatives to improve system performance and reduce emissions
• Work with Product team to productize energy audits and recommendation of energy-efficient solutions such as equipment upgrades, retrofits and control strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to identify energy-saving technology solutions and devices, and develop frameworks to monitor their effectiveness
• Evaluate new technologies and devices for HVAC energy optimization and onboard them within Accacia product environment

Qualifications

• Familiarity with energy management concepts, including energy audits, energy-efficient technologies, and sustainability practices
• Proficiency in HVAC systems, such as Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Direct Digital Controls (DDC)
• Knowledge of relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards, such as ASHRAE, ANSI, and local building codes
• Project or energy management certifications (e.g., PMP, CEM) are desirable
• Experience of 5-8 years working as HVAC systems operator and engineer with atleast 2 years of international markets like Singapore, Dubai, US, Canada
• Exposure to both air-conditioning and heating systems desirable
